Prologue

We had the pleasure to be responsible for this project, aimed at strengthening the brand image of the Portuguese surfskate manufacturer Bio Boards. The main objective was to make use of our experience and knowledge to deliver unique and efficient solutions to materialize the brand's vision. Here we'll go through all the specified areas we were assigned to develop.

Logo Design

This was a special and interesting aspect of the assignment. We produced a design that connoted a connection between the ground and the water, like surfskating, by drawing influence from the tail of the first ever amphibian known to man. The brand's history is embodied in the new logo, which also adds a contemporary design. The design incorporates three classic boards as the previous logo, which adds a familiar element and calls to mind the history of the company. Overall, the new design successfully conveys what Bio Boards is all about and how they relate to sports and the environment.

Photography

The intended was to highlight the vibrant surfskating community and the distinctive culture that defines it. We were able to bring the exhilarating speed and dramatic moves performed on the boards to life through our lenses, capturing the sport's adrenaline-fueled enthusiasm contrasting with the easygoing and carefree attitude associated with the lifestyle while also emphasizing the brand's vital link to the ocean and nature. The resulting visuals successfully convey the passion, emotion, and enthusiasm connected to Bio Boards.

3D Rendering and Modeling

While maintaining extreme realism, this method offers enhanced personalization, no more worrying about debris or marks, and the ease of making adjustments without having to do a reshoot, when compared to product photography. Furthermore, 3D models give the flexibility to be customized and modified in numerous ways, and they are simple to integrate into websites and other digital platforms. This adaptability and accuracy make 3D product rendering an effective and affordable option for product visualization.

Epilogue

The Bio Boards project was a success since it successfully highlighted the company's name and its goods. We produced results that exceeded expectations and accurately reflected the pleasure and spirit of the sport of surfskating. The 3D product renderings gave product visualization a flexible and accurate solution, boosting the brand and its products successfully elevating the Bio Boards name.
